Juan Solo – Automático (The Visual Album)Â
10 Music Videos One Day of Shooting
Shot on multiple cameras Canon / Sony
Music Video Series The Story/Concept: Working with director Emilia Duclaud, we developed a visual language that allowed the artist to inhabit different emotional spaces without leaving the set. The "Vibe": Versatile and sleek. Technical Focus: As a cinematographer, the challenge was to light a single environment that could feel entirely different for each track. Shot entirely at CTT in Mexico City, this project was a masterclass in preparation; the entire 10-video series was completed in less than 12 hours through a highly rehearsed, single-day "package" production.Â

A cinematic celebration of Mexican heritage. Filmed on location in Hidalgo and Tlaxcala, this music video focuses on the intersection of tradition and landscape. La Ăşnica razĂłn | Luthe Reyes (Official Music Video)
Shot on Canon R5C 8K RAW
A visually evocative journey for Luthe Reyes’ powerful Mexican ballad, "La única razón." Filmed across the stunning and diverse landscapes of Tlaxcala and Hidalgo, Mexico, this production explores the raw emotional intersection of love, loss, and faith.
As Cinematographer, my goal was to translate the song’s deep sentiment into a tangible visual narrative. The cinematography contrasts the vastness of the Mexican highlands—captured through sweeping aerial vistas—with the intimate, tactile textures of ancient stone ruins and ornate cathedral interiors. By leveraging natural light and a dynamic range of perspectives, the film highlights the solitude of the protagonist (Reyes) as she moves through symbolic environments, from lush flower fields to a surreal, leaf-filled bathtub.
This project serves as a cornerstone of my portfolio, showcasing the use of location-driven storytelling and cinematic lighting to enhance the emotional depth of Regional Mexican music.

in Orange County California
Â
Experience the visual journey of "Maldito el Momento," a story of farewell and freedom set against the iconic backdrops of Los Angeles and Orange County. This project serves as a testament to cinematic minimalism—stripping away massive crews and big budgets to focus on honest storytelling.
Filmed in less than two hours using only two iPhone 15 Pro Max handsets in Apple ProRes, we embraced the spontaneity of the environment. From the nostalgic atmosphere of empty amusement parks to the golden hour glow over the Pacific, every flare and reflection was captured to create a direct, unpretentious aesthetic. Featuring a rogue Ferrari and carefully curated stock footage, this video proves that high-end visual impact is born from creative vision rather than traditional gear.

"No es Cierto" – Danna Paola ft. Noel Schajris (2013)Â
Shot With Red CameraÂ
An intimate and emotional performance piece that explores themes of memory and heartache. The narrative weaves between the artists' soulful collaboration and nostalgic glimpses of the past, set within a historic residence.Â
This project was captured during an intensive one-day shoot on location in Coyoacán, Mexico City. The lighting strategy relied on a 10,000-watt Fresnel as the primary source, supplemented by strategic fillers to maintain atmosphere across the day-to-night transition. Specific lighting nuances were further refined in post-production to achieve the final look.

SHENAN - "Humo" (2019)
A visceral and surreal narrative that follows a woman through an emotional descent. The story moves between eerie urban landscapes and an apartment being consumed by fire, blending high-distress performance art with the band's intense musical presence.
The music video for 'Humo' by Shenan is a collaborative cinematography masterpiece directed by Hugo Arizmendi. Photographed by three Mexican cinematographers—Santiago Barreiro, Ernesto Rosas, and Fito Pardo AMC—the project was the result of an intense, continuous 48-hour shoot. Given the immense volume of raw material captured, the video underwent a meticulous three-month post-production process to bring its gritty, high-energy vision to life.

Be The One – Moby (2011) Category: Music Video
The film captures the visceral experience of a high-speed nighttime drive, eschewing traditional narrative in favor of a sensory exploration. From the isolating forward momentum of a dark highway to the strobe-like intensity of city tunnels, the cinematography translates Moby’s auditory textures into compelling, high-contrast visual narratives. It is an immersive journey through the heart of urban energy, defined by kinetic movement and the shimmering blur of life in motion.

Project: Motel – Multicolor EPK (2010)
A rare, behind-the-scenes look at the creative alchemy between the Mexican rock group Motel and legendary producer Peter Walsh (Peter Gabriel, Simple Minds). Filmed at the world-renowned Sonic Ranch in Tornillo, Texas, this documentary captures the birth of the Multicolor EP.
Commissioned by Warner Music Los Angeles, this EPK serves as a visual diary of one of the world's largest residential studios. Shot by Fito Pardo AMC, the cinematography focuses on the "residential" aspect of the sessions—blending the cozy, high-end interiors of Sonic Ranch with the vast, ethereal landscapes of the Texas desert. The film documents the technical and emotional process of Motel collaborating with world-class producer Peter Walsh, resulting in a gritty yet polished aesthetic that defines the "Multicolor" era.

Zemmoa: Careless Whisper (2024)
Through the lens of Fito Pardo AMC, Mexico City is transformed into a dreamlike, chromatic stage for Zemmoa’s haunting rendition of "Careless Whisper." The narrative follows a surreal late-night arc, blurring the lines between performance and a moody, urban odyssey.
The "vibe" is unapologetically ethereal and gritty. The technical focus remained on the interplay of practical neon sources and saturated color palettes. Every frame was designed to highlight the emotional weight of the performance through textured lighting and intimate handheld work, capturing the soul of the city after dark.

Erotica – Sophie Brown Rovirosa  (2011)
This project holds a profound place in my portfolio, both artistically and emotionally. Filmed in 2011 within the atmospheric heart of Tepito, Mexico City, this music video stands as the final captured performance of the legendary Sophie Brown Rovirosa, completed just one day before her unexpected passing.
To bring this vision to life, Director Armond Cohen and I (serving as Cinematographer) took a deeply hands-on approach. We transformed a local antique furniture store into a surreal, curated space, effectively handling the art direction ourselves. This collaborative effort was later honored with the Pantalla de Cristal 2012 Award for Best Art Direction.
Visually, I utilized the Canon 5D Mark II to capture the sharp contrast between the raw, "dangerous" reputation of the Tepito neighborhood and Sophie’s ethereal, sensual presence. The result is a bizarre yet spectacular visual tribute to a woman who defined herself through struggle, gender expression, and light.
Rest in peace, Sophie Brown Rovirosa.

Dile — Dan Masciarelli
In this collaboration with director Armond Cohen, I sought to capture the emotional weight of Dan Masciarelli’s soulful cover through a lens of "industrial romanticism." Filmed on location at Ferrovalle in Mexico City, the cinematography leverages the stark, geometric architecture of the rail yard to create a sense of scale and isolation.
The visual palette transitions from high-contrast industrial shadows to the soft, warm hues of sunset, mirroring the narrative’s shift between lonely reflection and the warmth of memory. By balancing natural light with strategic artificial accents, the film highlights the raw textures of the urban landscape while maintaining an intimate focus on the artist’s performance.

Los Actors – "Antes de Morir"
Captured overnight in a high-rise suite in Mexico City’s Santa Fe district, this official music video for Los Actors is a study in high-contrast minimalism. Produced by After Life, the visual direction leverages the architectural starkness of the space to explore the extreme dynamic range of the RED ONE sensor. By utilizing a disciplined, static camera and focusing on the interplay of deep blacks and luminous greys, the cinematography creates a timeless backdrop for the band’s raw energy and the model’s emotional narrative.

ITALIA – Los MartyÂ
Set against the monumental scale of Mexico City, "Italia" is a visual symphony that integrates performance art into the industrial heart of the metropolis. Shot entirely on location, the piece contrasts the raw, indie-rock energy of Los Marty with the sophisticated, geometric textures of CDMX.
The Vision: Directed by PP and produced by After Life, the narrative employs a rhythmic, multi-frame structure. The cinematography captures a high-energy counterpoint between the band’s drive and the precision of the city skyline. Rendered with a timeless 35mm aesthetic and organic film grain, the visual language bridges the gap between intimate performance and expansive urban movement—from the blurring rush of the Metro to the golden hour glow over Paseo de la Reforma.

TIEMPOÂ - Amnessia (2010)
A high-octane studio performance by Mexican hard rock band Amnessia, set against a digitally rendered, storm-lashed landscape of electrical pylons.
Shot in a historic cinema-turned-studio in San Angel, this project centered on seamless green-screen integration. To match the hard rock aesthetic, I utilized high-contrast side-lighting with 20K and 10K Fresnels through a 20x20 babenet "book light" setup, ensuring the band had a sharp, aggressive "bite" while maintaining perfect separation for the VFX composite.

Al Amanecer by Alberto CobbahÂ
As the Cinematographer, I worked under the direction of Adrian Amelio to capture the essence of Acapulco over a focused two-day shoot. The production highlights the city's "golden years," featuring stunning locations like the cliffside La Casa del Acantilado and classic 1960s-era properties on Gran Via Tropical.
My goal was to translate the romantic and adventurous spirit of the lyrics into a visual journey. By prioritizing natural, golden-toned lighting and expansive aerial perspectives, the cinematography celebrates both the artist’s performance and the region’s breathtaking geography.

No Quiero Llorar by Carlo Gless (2014)Â
Filmed in the breathtaking Sierra Gorda of Querétaro, this project captures the raw beauty of untamed landscapes, from roaring waterfalls to light-drenched forests. The narrative moves from the vastness of nature to a haunting, candlelit night at the Jalpan Cathedral, creating an intimate space for a story of heartbreak and departure to unfold against the timeless majesty of the Mexican wilderness.

Ely Guerra Ojos Claros, Labios Rosas" (2004)
An oneiric journey that fuses the energy of alternative rock with a highly stylized surrealist narrative. The piece utilizes symbolic imagery—such as a milk bath and an overflow of bubbles within a minimalist home—to reflect the dual vulnerability and strength of the lyrics.
The cinematography emphasizes fragmentation and introspection. This was achieved through the strategic use of mirrored hallways and white blinds to deconstruct the image. The visual texture is further defined by macro-detail shots of Fender amplifiers and electric guitars, while the band's collective energy is captured within a dynamic, glass-enclosed environment.

It follows Cristian Castro through high-octane racing, luxurious boat trips, and vibrant club scenes. The video features high-speed action, luxury lifestyle, and the beautiful landscapes of Mexico.
Classic 2000s aesthetic, high-speed action, and vibrant landscapes. Fito Pardo AMC as the 2nd Unit Cinematographer contributed to capturing the dynamic and energetic scenes. The video uses a mix of fast-paced editing and sweeping shots to convey the luxury and excitement of the lifestyle being depicted.

Rusty Eye -  Las Persianas (Café Tacvba Cover)
a high-octane performance piece for Rusty Eye’s hard-rock cover of “Las Persianas”. Despite the lighting constraints, the cinematography creates an expansive scale through strategic backlighting and lens flares that mimic explosions of light behind the band.
The bassist, guitarist, and drummer are captured in sharp rim-lighting, emphasizing their movement and headbanging against a backdrop of metal security shutters (persianas) that serve as a visual metaphor for the song title. Stylized editing and intentional light leaks further enhance the raw, industrial aesthetic, resulting in a gritty and powerful visual experience.

EVO – "No Desvanezcas" (Live Session) (2012)
As Cinematographer, I rigged 11 different cameras across the stage to ensure every angle of the energy was covered. By mixing professional rigs with GoPros and mobile sensors mounted directly onto instruments and amplifiers, we created a visceral, "on-stage" perspective. This experimental approach captures the raw heart of the band's performance, proving that creative placement can outweigh a massive budget.

Lurvik -Â Corazones GitanosÂ
A poignant, non-linear exploration of love, memory, and the passage of time. The narrative follows a man’s devotion to a frail woman in a surreal hospital setting placed within the natural world. As Lurvik narrates this "legend of gypsy hearts" from the shores of a sun-drenched lake, the film transitions from the stark vulnerability of illness to a final, symbolic image of an elderly couple disappearing into the woods—proving that true connection transcends physical decline.
In this piece, I focused on the "chiaroscuro" of human emotion—using natural light to create a sharp contrast between the cold reality of loss and the vibrant warmth of cherished memories. By prioritizing atmospheric depth and soft, organic textures in the lake sequences, the cinematography serves as the bridge between the surreal narrative elements and the raw, intimate performances.

Los Liquits – "Cuando Apagues la Luz" (2007)
A high-concept "heist" following the band members—clad in vibrant, monochromatic suits—as they infiltrate a corporate skyscraper. The narrative utilizes a clever visual hook: toggling light switches to transition between a sterile office environment and a stylized, high-energy performance space. The video concludes with an iconic night-scale shot of the building’s windows illuminated to spell out the band’s nameAs the 2nd Unit Cinematographer, I was responsible for capturing the project’s high-production-value opening. This included the large-scale airport hangar sequences and the helicopter arrival footage, which established the cinematic scope of the video before the narrative shifted to the interior sets.

Libero – PerdĂłnameÂ
A visually compelling performance piece shot on location in Mexico City. The video uses the stark geometry of a minimalist mansion to mirror the internal void of the song's lyrics.
My goal was to transform a challenging, empty location into a moody, timeless environment. By leveraging a sophisticated blend of shadow, smoke, and soft atmospheric glows, we were able to add a layer of "visual weight" that perfectly complements Libero’s performance.
Director: Adrian AmelioÂ
Cinematographer: Fito Pardo AMC
Carlos Henri -Â "Nadie"Â (2018)
Shot at the Foro Light Channel in Mexico City, this music video is a minimalist study of performance and emotional delivery. To reflect the song’s themes of solitude and introspection, the visual narrative is set within a complete black stage, stripping away all distractions to focus entirely on the subject.
To achieve the video's signature high-contrast look, I employed a classic lighting approach designed to pull the artist out of the darkness. Using Fresnel lamps as primary sources, we created a dramatic separation between the performers and the void. For the intimate close-ups, quartz lighting was used to capture the fine textures and raw emotion of the artists. This project remains a testament to the power of traditional lighting techniques—using light and shadow to build a world out of nothing.

Sweet Electra - "Ser" (2004)
Set within the skeletal remains of an industrial factory, the music video for "Ser" by Sweet Electra is a visual exploration of confinement and the human search for light. The mechanical setting serves as a cold, rigid contrast to the fluid, electronic pulse of the music.
Captured during the pre-HD era, this project focuses on the beauty of raw, analog textures. As Cinematographer, I utilized a high-contrast palette—dominated by saturated reds, acidic greens, and deep yellows—to transform the functional space into a surreal landscape.
The visual narrative relies heavily on experimental silhouette techniques and bold lighting to amplify the song's emotional weight. By isolating the artist within vast shadows and sharp highlights, the cinematography mirrors the internal struggle of the lyrics, creating a "masterclass" in mood-driven, low-light photography.
Director: Jorge Hernandez Salgado

Jeronimo 2.0 -Â "FenĂłmenos del CorazĂłn" (2004)
A visual exploration of the "psychographic"—the duality of human emotion and the physical sensations of the heart. The video translates the song’s themes of passion, oppression, and vitality into a series of rhythmic, high-contrast vignettes.
Silhouetted storytelling and lighting control. The cinematography, designed and executed by Fito Pardo AMC, utilizes experimental lighting to strip away detail and focus on movement. A key technical element is the juxtaposition of a vivid, anatomical red heart against a stark monochrome world, seamlessly integrated with dynamic on-screen typography.
